We hope you will all have a good time playing Warstride Challenges! We're working hard on squashing the bugs and you can expect updates soon. You can find below a list of the current known issues.
GENERAL
- Upon attempting to create a profile offline, a crash will occur if you connect to the internet and try to create a profile without restarting the game first.
=> Workaround: You must be connected the first time you launch the game to create your profile - Sometimes when jumping on stairs, the collision of the next step might stop the jump movement.
- Localization in progress. Various UI and texts issues in French, German, Spanish, Russian and Chinese such as inconsistencies, cut-off texts and overlap. Some texts are left untranslated.
- If you skip a tutorial video with Escape, the mouse gets over the crosshair.
=> Workaround: quick-restart the level to recover the crosshair. - If you maintain Slowmotion key when starting a level, the slow motion controls are inverted
=> Workaround: quick-restart the level to reset the slow motion control. - Various minor settings issues (sounds, effects and HUD).
- Very rare, low performance-related bug: Using a Shockwave may not work and causes the weapon to disappear. Restarting the level will fix it.
- Intro video may stutter randomly.
NEMESIS MODE
- Nemesis notifications may not display immediately and stack over each other. They are only displayed in the level selection menu.
- Bonus Levels and Big Fun Levels will not display the Nemesis name properly in the Friends leaderboard
- Non-English Nemesis names will not be displayed properly in-game.
- Nemesis ghosts will not appear in Big Fun Level #3
LEVEL EDITOR & COMMUNITY LEVELS (EARLY ACCESS)
- It can happen that the camera will stop working properly, likely due to multiple Alt-Tab or Escape occurrences.
=> Workaround: You need to save you level, exit the Level Editor and reload your level. - When clicking outside the Main Menu panel, you might lose some controls of your mouse and keyboard such as R to rotate, fast camera speed, objects selection…
=> Workaround: You need to save you level, exit the Level Editor and reload your level. - When putting too many elements at the same place, they will pile up and might appear somewhere else. Moreover, stacking up objects will make them flicker a lot in game.
- The leaderboards are not yet functional in the Community Levels
- Enemies will get stuck if you place them inside or in direct collision with the geometry.
- If you place a trigger zone on the player spawn point, the enemy will spawn before you launch the level and won't respawn, making the level unfinishable.
- Enemy will not attack the player if their trigger box is too far from them.
- Shortcut for changing the Grid size (+) does not work
- Objects may not properly snap on the grid as the player intend it.
- Various AI pathfinding issues. This will be improved during Early Access
- When creating a new level a ghost from the previous edited level will appear

- Can't delete an uploaded level for now. This will be added during Early Access.
- Blood splatter decals may not be displayed properly on objects.
- It is possible to upload unfinishable levels for now. Completion checks before uploading will be added during Early Access.
